Emma And The Love Spell
Meredith Ireland
This book is awesome ! I like it how the main character named Emma goes trough many problems like her best and only friend moving and someone knows that she is aa witch even tough she is not supposed to tell ANYONE not even her best friend which is hard . It is cool to see what happens in the next chapter and you just want to read more of it !

THE RESORT
Sara Ochs
Several mysterious deaths start the story told by Sara Ochs in her first novel, THE RESORT. The resort, on a small remote island in Thailand is home to travelers from around the world who have made their way to the island and decided to stay on as staff at the hotel, bar, and dive shop. Added to the mix are various guests who arrive from time to time ... two of which have never left. Both are newly dead. Accident, suicide, or murder? Not everything and certainly not everyone is who and what they seem ... I enjoyed the novel very much and hope for more by this new author.

Liz Moore
An amazing read this summer. Read carefully and keep track of the changing perspectives and timeline, but it is written so well.

The Heiress
Rachel Hawkins
I listened to this book in less than three days. It was so riveting. Years earlier baby Ruby McTavish goes missing in the woods and is found months later “kidnapped” and living with a poor farmer’s family. Ruby’s life is filled with heartache and four unlucky marriages. Ruby then adopts Cam. Camden McTavish sole heir to the McTavish fortune and the luckiest kid alive, ran away from his home and family leaving all the memories and bad blood behind him. He met his wife and live Jules during this time. He gets a call from his cousin Ben to come home to fix the mansion and take care of finances. Camden comes home and the whole sordid story of the kidnapping, brutal happenings in the family and just how far a McTavish can get away with by throwing money at it. I definitely recommend this book.

Eddie Grant left her job in NYC to go home to Nantucket to help her sister with their father. She also meets up with an old love. Barret plans to open up a store and their father is still in a funk after their mother left and their brother died. Of course there's romance and drama and happy endings.

Full Wolf Moon
Lincoln Child
Powerful story that kept me on the edge of my seat until the truth came out. Also scary because it 'could' be somewhat true, given all the science testing with DNA these days.

Left On Main Street
Steven Jay Griffel
I decided to read this novel after I had heard the author speak at a meeting . He was an enjoyable speaker. This is a love story told by the characters as events occur. It was hard to follow as each entry was not always in sequential order. I thought I knew what would happen, but I was completely wrong. The ending was much better than the beginning. There were some novel twists. Light reading. mostly fun.
